Ingredients

  • 5oz oyster mushrooms, cleaned
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin

Directions

  1. Preheat at 375°F for 3 minutes
  2. Toss the mushrooms with buttermilk in a large bowl
  3. Marinate for 15 minutes
  4. Mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cumin together
  5. Spoon mushrooms out of the buttermilk
  6. Dip each mushroom in the flour mixture
  7. Dip again in the buttermilk and flour mixture
  8. Spray with olive oil
  9. Air fry at 375°F for 5 minutes
  10. Flip the mushrooms, spray with olive oil, then cook for another 5 minutes
