Ingredients

  • 1 1/5 lb fresh cranberries
  • ⅓ lb cane sugar
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Soak the cranberries in a bowl with water and a tablespoon of salt for about five minutes
  2. Cut a slit with scissors (no need to cut in half) and mix with the granulated sugar
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate overnight in the refrigerator
  4. Place in dehydrator and set the temperature at 158°F for 9 hours
