We'll guide you through the necessary actions in this blog to make sure your air fryer remains hygienic, effective, and prepared to cook delicious meals.
Why Cleaning Your Air Fryer Matters: Whether you're a novice in the kitchen or a seasoned chef, maintaining cleanliness in your appliances is non-negotiable. Not only does a clean air fryer enhance the taste and quality of your food, but it also prolongs the lifespan of your appliance and prevents any potential health hazards from built-up grease and residue.
Step-by-Step Guide to Cleaning Your Ultrean Air Fryer:
-
Cool Down: Before diving into cleaning mode, always ensure your Ultrean air fryer has cooled down completely. Safety first!
-
Detach and Wash the Basket and Tray: Remove the basket and tray from your air fryer. These are the parts that come into direct contact with your food, so they require thorough cleaning. Wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residues, let them soak before gently scrubbing.
-
Wipe Down the Interior and Exterior: Using a damp cloth or sponge, wipe down the interior and exterior of your air fryer. Pay special attention to any grease or food splatters. For tougher stains, a mixture of water and vinegar works wonders.
-
Clean the Heating Element: The heating element is the powerhouse of your air fryer. While you don't want to submerge it in water, you can gently wipe it down with a damp cloth or use a soft-bristle brush to remove any accumulated debris.
-
Check the Air Vent: Over time, the air vent may collect dust or grease, obstructing airflow. Use a brush or a cotton swab to gently clean the vent and ensure optimal performance.
-
Reassemble and Store: Once everything is clean and dry, reassemble your Ultrean air fryer and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.

Have had my Ultrean a few years and rarely used it until now. I have cleaned it after use per the recommended instructions. For first time, I have noticed a rust spot on the side of the basket. What should I do? Is there a fix for this? Will Ultrean replace the basket at no charge? Do I need to trash it?
