Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat your toaster oven to 350°F (175°C) or use a regular toaster on medium setting.
  2. Trim the crusts off the bread slices, then cut each slice into four equally sized sticks.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Lightly brush each bread stick with melted butter, making sure to coat all sides.
  5. Roll each buttered bread stick in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Place the coated sticks on a baking sheet or toaster oven tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Toast the sticks in the preheated toaster oven or regular oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  8. Allow the toast sticks to cool slightly before serving. They are delicious on their own or served with a side of maple syrup or cream cheese for dipping.
