In this simple and quick weekday side dish recipe, honey-roasted carrots are mixed with a buttery balsamic sauce and sprinkled with chives while still warm from the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 lb tri-colored baby carrots
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp fresh chives, chopped

Directions

  1. Mix olive oil, honey, salt, pepper in a bowl
  2. Add carrots and combine to coat
  3. Place carrots in the basket in a single layer
  4. Air fry at 390°F for 10 minutes
  5. Stir halfway through cooking
  6. Add balsamic glaze and butter to the carrots
  7. Stir until well coated
  8. Sprinkle with chives
