- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat dry the chicken drumsticks with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
- Place the chicken drumsticks in the bowl with the BBQ sauce mixture. Coat them well with the sauce, ensuring every part of the drumsticks is covered.
- Arrange the coated drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
- Cook the chicken drumsticks in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The chicken should be cooked through, with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
