An air fryer allows you to enjoy a beloved Indian deep-fried dessert without the guilt. Don't forget the dipping sauce of yogurt!
Ingredients

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced

1 tbsp salt
-
1 clove of garlic, minced
-
1 tsp coriander, chopped
-
1 tsp chili powder
-
1 tsp ground turmeric
-
½ tsp cumin
-
⅔ cup chickpea flour
-
4 tbsp water, or as needed
Directions
Preheat at 350°F for 3 minutes
Mix red onion, yellow onion, salt, garlic, coriander, chili powder, turmeric, cumin in a bowl
Add chickpea flour and water to the onion mixture
Combine into a thick batter
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes
Spray with olive oil
Place fritters in the basket in a single layer
Air fry at 350°F for 6 minutes
Spray with olive oil
Flip the fritters
Cook for additional 6 minutes
Enjoy!
