Ingredients
1 pound chicken tenders
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
Cooking spray
Directions
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Dip each chicken tender into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each tender.
Spray the chicken tenders with cooking spray to help them brown and crisp up.
Place the basket in the preheated air fryer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping the tenders halfway through the cooking time. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Recipe Note
- You can customize the seasoning mixture by adding herbs or spices of your choice.
- If you have a smaller air fryer, cook the chicken tenders in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Experiment with different coatings like panko breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes for a variation in texture.
