Ingredients
1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Directions
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
Thread the shrimp onto the soaked wooden skewers.
Place the shrimp skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
Cook the shrimp skewers in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 6-8 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are pink and cooked through.
Remove the skewers from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Recipe Note
- You can adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences. Add more garlic or lemon zest if desired.
- Soaking the wooden skewers in water prevents them from burning in the air fryer.
- Serve the shrimp skewers with a side of lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.
