Donuts are one of our favourite desserts--but making them at home can be quite the process (hello, hot oil!). With an air fryer, you can bypass the hot oil and make a healthier version. If you've ever had a baked doughnut, be prepared. These are SO much better.
Ingredients

1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 1/4 tsp dry yeast
2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar
4 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp milk
Directions
Microwave 1/2 cup of milk for 40 seconds
Mix warm milk with 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar and yeast.
Set the mixture aside until frothy, about 8 minutes
Mix flour and salt
Mix melted butter, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, egg and vanilla.
Add in the yeast mixture and combine well.
Add half of the flour mixture and mix well
Then add the remaining and mix well
Flour the surface
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes
Transfer the dough in an oiled bowl
Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size
Flour the surface again
Roll out the dough into a 1/2-inch thick round
Cut out the donut shape
Let them rise for 30 minutes
Preheat at 375°F for 3 minutes
Spray with cooking spray
Air fry at 375°F for 6 minutes
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the vanilla glaze.
Mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder and milk to make the chocolate glaze.
Dip in the glazes
Add sprinkles
Enjoy!
